We had our hands full with newborn babies who came in for their first childhood vaccines today. 3 of whose mothers are adolescents. We immunized 23 babies from 0 to 9 month old. We distributed free 20 mosquito nets, malaria treatment for 70 percent of the expectant and nursing mothers in attendance.
We improved our antenatal today with weighing scale for our pregnant women and attended to 19 of them. The outcome of that though is that most of these women are underweight for their pregnancy. We also carried out PCV testing on the pregnant women. 5 of these women received the required tetanus injection a few were placed on additional medications.
